Apollo
Apollo Sports Club is a place with more than 25 years of history, and a symbol of sport and a healthy way of life in Chisinau.
Founded in 1991 as a physical-culture and health club, and officially registered in 2001 as the Apollo Children’s Public Organization, the center became a starting point for several generations of athletes. Champions and characters were formed here, and sport became part of life for hundreds of children and adults.
The club is at bd. Mircea cel Bătrân 26/3. The rooms have what is needed: professional Vasil Gym machines, changing rooms, showers, ventilation and an electric sauna for recovery after training.
Apollo’s real strength is its community, not the walls. It is a school of sports education, where young people learn discipline, strength and respect. The organization works with the education and child-rights departments, takes children from low-income families into its sections free of charge, and holds strength marathons, tournaments, festivals and competitions in memory of athletes and coaches.
Today Apollo is part of the history of Moldovan sport, where will, character and a love of movement are taught.
The club’s mission is to strengthen health and spirit, bringing generations together around sport and honest strength.
